Bounty of Harvest – Pumpkins

Saturday, October 16 @ 1:30 pm

Feel the soil between your fingers as you harvest and prepare fresh produce and herbs from our orchards and gardens for your food, decor, and cosmetic use. This program includes a mini garden tour, hands-on harvesting*, a recipe, and a prep session to get you started. Recipes are a blend of heritage and modern. (*Note: Harvesting from the gardens is dependent on seed and plant availability, the planting and growing season, and the abundance in the gardens.)

October 16: PUMPKINS

Pumpkins are useful for more than jack o’lanterns and pie!  You’ll prep a pie pumpkin for pickles.  In the Bounty of the Harvest series, explore our gardens as the seasons change, harvest* and prep a recipe to take home and finish.  *Note:  harvesting is season and weather dependent; ingredients may be store-bought.

Registration required in advance, links to registration found under each theme. Cost per person is $25 including tax. The program is 1 hour. There is a maximum of 9 people in the program.
