Exploring Spadina’s Orchards

Sunday, September 22 @ 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and join us in the Spadina Museum orchard to enjoy outdoor acoustic music with different musicians each week – The History Buffs (September 15) and The Tall Poppies (September 22). After the performances make sure you linger a while to enjoy the grounds and play outdoor games like croquet, quoits and badminton.

Learn about the historic orchard and the different varieties of apples grown over the years. Sample some of these varieties and compare the difference of apples you usually buy. Help make and taste Apple Crisp from a 1937 recipe in the kitchen and tour the historic house. This event is part of Toronto History Museums’ Fall and Harvest programming.

Music, games, orchard and apple exploration FREE.
Regular admission applies for Museum tours, and that the Apple Crisp activity and tasting are included with regular museum admission.
