Family Fridays at Evergreen Brick Works

An event every week that begins at 12:00 am on Friday, repeating until Friday, August 28, 2020

Join in on a family-friendly guided hike or bike ride! We’ll explore the trails by hiking or biking, and learn more about Toronto’s Don Valley. Bring your family down to Evergreen Brick Works, where the adventure begins.

These programs are led by Evergreen’s outdoor educators and small-scale to keep us all safe.

 

Family Hikes

Join one of our skilled outdoor educators for an adventure that will get the whole family in touch with their senses and buzzing about nature in the city! Hikes will last for approximately 1.5 hours.

All ages

Dates: 4pm and 7pm July 17, 24, 31; Aug 21, 28

Cost: $15 per person, children under 2 free

Meeting Location: Children’s Garden

Family Rides

Join one of our skilled outdoor educators to explore the paved trails, get our bodies moving and take some time to connect to the urban wilderness. We’ll also stop and play some nature-based games along the way! Rides will last approximately 1.5 hours.

Ages: 6+, must have basic 2-wheel bike skills

Dates: 2pm July 24 & August 14

Cost: $15 per person, children’s bike rentals available for $10, training wheels not available
