Visit Grey Roots on the first day of the Year of the Dragon as we celebrate Lunar New Year!
The Grey-Bruce Chinese Heritage and Culture Association join us for this fun family event on Saturday February 10, from 10 AM – 12 PM.
The event includes cultural presentations, demos, festive décor and kid friendly activities. Highlights include:
Kumihimo (Japanese braiding) demonstrations
Spring couplet demonstration
Yarrow sticks fortune telling
Chinese opera costumes photo booth
Lunar New Year craft for children
Dragon boat display
Grey Bruce Chinese heritage panel
Trivia
Qigong exercises presentation
Performance by the Keppel Sarawak Choir
Admission to the Lunar New Year Celebration is FREE. Donations are welcome.
