Can you find nature in the city? What is a coyote saying when it howls? Do skunks eat ice cream? Can I keep a wild animal as a pet? Join us for our Kids Go Wild! program – a fun-filled interactive presentation to learn the answers to these questions and more! We will also focus on simple actions kids can take to keep local wildlife safe and how to appropriately interact with them.
The presentation is followed by a meet and greet with ‘Hotdog’ the snapping turtle – TWC’s wild education ambassador – and a hands-on activity. Visitors are also welcome to take a peak in our viewing hallway where select wild patients are on display as they receive life-saving rehabilitative care.
Please note that this event requires a ticket and children must be accompanied by an adult. Kids Go Wild! is best suited for children age 5-10.
