Teen Leader Program – Kidz Can Play Camp

Kidz Can Play Inc. offers a Teen Leader Program for campers ages 13 & 14 who are looking for more leadership opportunities and volunteer hours. Teen Leaders develops valuable leadership skills in a supportive community environment. Teens balance the role of responsibility and fun through new opportunities to learn new skills, while still participating in regular camp activities!
Our Teen Leader program aims to slowly move our campers from thinking as participants to thinking of enjoying camp while helping others at the same time. Now our Teen Leaders might be asked to be a team captain of a basketball team, or help out with small tasks during crafts or help a 6 year old come up with strategies during capture the flag! This shift in thinking for our participants is essential to understanding the difference between being a participant and being a leader/role model for the campers.
Kidz Can Play is a full-day camp program for campers entering SK all the way up to Grade 10. Camp is filled with variety! Arts & Crafts, Sports, Water Games, Talent Shows, Team Challenges, and more! This year we will be hosting the following theme weeks: Clash of Colours, Lost in Atlantis, Carnival & Superhero Week!
Kidz Can Play is owned and operated by Ontario Teachers and Overnight Camp enthusiasts. We love to bring the spontaneity and fun of an overnight camp to a day camp setting for our younger campers to enjoy!
