Downtown Yonge BIA maps festive installations
Downtown Toronto is featuring city blocks of bright lights to celebrate the holiday season.
The Downtown Yonge BIA has published its Walking on a Yonge Street Wonderland map, as a guide to a stroll through holiday-themed installations.
The sites include:
- March of the Bears at College Park
- Flight of the Reindeer at McGill-Granby Parkette
- 777 Bay Plaza Holiday Tree
- Twinkling Pathway of Lights in Trinity Square Park
- Tree of Remembrance at Yonge-Dundas Square
- Cavalcade of Lights at Nathan Phillips Square
- Wreath Street (on Elm)
For those preferring to glide rather than walk amidst the bright lights, the Barbara Ann Scott Ice and Light Festival has opened for this season. Presented by the Downtown Yonge BIA at College Park, the five-meter-wide, oval skate trail is a winter wonderland in the heart of downtown.
