5. Visit a Sugar Bush
Spring is just around the corner and with it a very sweet time of year has arrived in Ontario – the sap is running, and that can only mean one thing – Maple Syrup!
Enjoy a pancake breakfast, a walk in the woods to learn how many buckets of sap make a litre of syrup, and hop on a wagon ride! 9. Outdoor Adventures
Venture beyond the GTA to explore nearby natural wonders and outdoor attractions, such as snowshoeing or nordic skiing at a conservation area, or head out for a day of tubing, skiing and snowboarding at nearby resorts like Ski Dagmar and Blue Mountain. (Check conditions before heading out, at the time of this publication hills were predicted to be open, but warm weather may affect this!).
Nature lovers can also get their fill at conservation centres like Kortight, Wye Marsh, Mountsberg among others. Many of these spots are also offering Maple Syrup Experiences right now, so you can get a forest walk in and taste the sweet stuff while you’re there! Kids can get also active on a 2-hour adventure exploring tree houses, wood bridges and net-walkways at Treewalk Village!
10. Visit a Zoo or Nature Centre
