SUMMARY:Glow in the Wild at the Toronto Zoo
DESCRIPTION:Something wild is glowing at the Toronto Zoo! Glow in the Wild is an all-new after-dark experience that transforms the Zoo into a spectacular illuminated adventure featuring more than 2\,000 handcrafted lantern displays. \nFollow a 1.5-km outdoor route through the Zoo and discover larger-than-life animals\, colourful illuminated displays and interactive photo opportunities inspired by wildlife\, nature and cultural storytelling. The experience combines incredible artistry with conservation stories\, giving families a whole new way to explore the Zoo after sunset. \nA special highlight is a first-of-its-kind lantern installation sharing the story of the endangered Blanding’s Turtle. Created in collaboration with an Indigenous artist\, the immersive display uses art\, light and storytelling to celebrate this remarkable Ontario species and the importance of protecting wildlife at risk. \nFamilies can also enjoy live cultural performances presented in partnership with the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto\, along with food and beverage options available during the evening. \nGlow in the Wild is designed for all ages and runs on select evenings from September 2\, 2026 to January 3\, 2027. This is a separately ticketed after-hours experience; daytime Zoo admission does not include entry to Glow in the Wild.
