Winter Carnivals and Festivals

Are you ready for some real Canadian outdoor winter fun?

Winter carnivals generally run during January and February of each year – they are a great way for the family to beat those winter blues. You’ll get a chance to see dog sled racing, participate in traditional winter games, snow shoeing, sledding and plenty of other creative and unconventional ideas that local residents think up every year.

Check out the Festivals listed below to get an idea of how original and ‘Canadian’ these events are and be sure you head out to at least one of these great carnivals this year!
