Do something extraordinary this summer! Our canoe trip camps for youth ages 11-15 and 16-18 are unique, and intentionally so. At their core, all of our programs strive to open a world of unimagined possibilities for today’s youth, to enrich their lives through meaningful experiences among a community of peers in a wilderness setting, and to set-up a future where tomorrow’s leaders care equally for each other, our planet, and themselves.

Not your average canoe trip, our programs are one-of-a-kind, offering a combination of naturalist skills, canoe tripping techniques, and fun adventure with new, soon to be lifelong friends! Our camps provide an intro to canoe tripping for those who have never been on a wilderness trip, while also enabling seasoned canoeists to discover a deeper, more meaningful experience than they have in the past. Focusing on naturalist learning and a wholistic approach to backcountry living, the trips create a fun, relaxed environment for teenagers to spend four days engaging with the natural world in a way they never have before.
Engaging in citizen science, our longer trips enable youth to dive deep into the world of conservation, investigating the theories, history, science, tools, and practices of wilderness and wildlife preservation, all while on an 8-day adventurous canoe trip in the heart of some of our province’s most significant wild places! This one-of-a-kind, real-world learning experience enables teenagers to not only learn about the natural world, but also to actively contribute towards its conservation. Our camp is run in partnership with Wilderness Committee, a national environmental organization, with the data we collect going directly toward aiding their efforts to protect Ontario’s pristine natural environments.
