To families in Oakville and Mississauga seeking educationally-enriching activities for their children ages 3-18, Little Kitchen Academy is the first-of-its-kind Montessori-inspired cooking academy providing a safe & empowering environment to learn practical life skills, confidence, independence, and healthy eating habits to last a lifetime.
In each 3-hour class, students learn how to make healthy, delicious, and seasonal meals from scratch to consumption—all while experimenting with math and science concepts, working on their reading skills, and polishing up their table manners. They will learn everything from proper handwashing, choosing their ingredients, kitchen safety, food preparation, cleaning, table manner, and enjoying the meal they make at the end of class. There is so much practical and developmental skills they learn aside from cooking during class! Each student has their own station and equipment, so there is no sharing, and they can work at their own pace. Each age group is presented with different degrees of difficulties.
