PROFILE

With more than 5.7 million litres of water, North America’s longest underwater viewing tunnel! Families can get up close and personal with touch exhibits featuring scarlet cleaner shrimp and stingrays. This awe-inspiring attraction consists of ten carefully curated galleries showcasing a cross-section of saltwater and freshwater environments from around the world, starting with species from Toronto’s backyard, the Great Lakes basin.

The aquarium features sand tiger sharks, green sawfish, and one of the world’s largest species of sea turtles, the green sea turtles. You’ll also see giant octopuses, stingrays, jellyfish, horseshoe crabs and more. The nine viewing galleries, include Canadian Waters, Rainbow Reef, Dangerous Lagoon, Discovery Centre, The Gallery, Ray Bay, Planet Jellies, Life Support Systems, and Shoreline Gallery. 

The aquarium is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Purchase your timed tickets online.

Camps and Clubs

Programs are available for ages 2 to teens. Sea Squirts for young children aged 2 to 4 features a different sea creature each week and related activity and storytime. Summer Day Camps offer the opportunity for kids to immerse themselves in the aquarium through hands-on activities, gallery exploration and behind-the-scenes adventures. Birthday Parties
Your child can have an underwater adventure birthday party. Four themes (Under the Sea, Mermaids, Pirates, and Sharks) are available. Packages include aquarium admission, two hours in a private decorated party room, pizza and drinks, cupcakes (peanut and tree-nut free), and a craft activity and loot bag for each child. The birthday child also receives a free picture at the Photo Port.

Education
The aquarium offers teacher resources and both virtual and in-person field trips for schools, and home school families. And a Sea Scholars Class Sponsorship program.
