Families visiting Big Splash at Bingemans this summer can look forward to an exciting new attraction. The Kitchener waterpark has officially launched Typhoon Twister, a new four-slide waterslide tower that expands Big Splash from nine waterslides to 13.
Designed for thrill-seekers, Typhoon Twister features four unique high-speed slides with twists, turns, drops, racing elements, and spinning experiences. Riders can race side-by-side on rally racer lanes or navigate giant flying saucer elements that send them sweeping from side to side before splashing down below.
“Typhoon Twister was designed to bring a completely new level of energy to Big Splash,” says Michelle Playfair, General Manager at Bingemans. “It’s fast, competitive and unpredictable. Every ride offers a different experience, giving guests a reason to ride again and again.”
The new attraction represents one of the largest recent additions to Big Splash and adds both capacity and excitement to Waterloo Region’s largest outdoor waterpark. Guests are encouraged to try all four slides and discover their favourite ride experience.
In addition to the new tower, Big Splash features a heated wave pool, splash areas, private cabana rentals, and seasonal events including Rave Swim Nights and Dive-In Movie Nights.
Big Splash is part of the larger Bingemans resort and entertainment destination, which also offers camping, mini golf, bowling, dining, and family attractions throughout the summer season.
