Looking for an affordable family adventure this summer? The Canada Strong Pass makes it easier to explore some of Canada’s most incredible parks, museums, historic sites and attractions. Available from June 19 to September 7, 2026, the program offers free admission and discounts at participating destinations across the country—perfect for family day trips, weekend getaways, or a Canadian summer road trip.
The best part? There’s no physical pass to purchase, download, or register for. Simply visit a participating location and receive the applicable savings. The program includes free admission to Parks Canada national parks, national historic sites and national marine conservation areas, along with 25% off camping and select overnight accommodations at participating Parks Canada locations.
Families can also save at some of Ontario’s best-loved cultural attractions, including the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO), McMichael Canadian Art Collection, KidSpark at Harbourfront, Science North, Dynamic Earth, Discovery Harbour, and Upper Canada Village. Children and teens aged 17 and under receive free admission, while young adults aged 18–24 receive 50% off admission at participating museums and galleries. It’s the perfect excuse to plan a family day trip or weekend getaway this summer.
Planning to travel a little farther? VIA Rail is also participating, offering free Economy travel for children aged 17 and under when travelling with an adult, plus 25% off eligible Economy fares for travellers aged 18–24. Before heading out, be sure to check the Canada Strong Pass website, as some locations may require advance reservations or have additional fees for parking, special exhibits, or other activities. Whether you’re rediscovering a favourite destination or exploring somewhere new, the Canada Strong Pass is a great way to make family adventures more affordable this summer.
