The Avenue Road Arts School has been inspiring creativity since 1993. The school has become a leader in arts education, offering engaging and interactive classes for kids, teens and adults. Since its opening, ARAS has been a recognized and trusted school in providing high quality art classes, with plenty of support and individual attention. In 2020, the school pivoted to a virtual platform and, after plenty of research and planning, became one of the first arts schools to offer live and responsive classes in an online capacity. Students have grown to recognize that they receive the best in arts training, with a warm and supportive approach, because this virtual school shares the same DNA as the live school. There is a large roster of classes for children, teens and adults, novice to experienced and those looking to have fun, relax and exercise their creativity. Programs are offered year-round (fall, winter, spring, summer) and we offer popular programs for March break, summer camps, birthday parties and specialty school workshops for public and private schools both daytime and afterschool.
All programs are taught by professional artist/educators, who have a passion for their art practice, are mature and have plenty of teaching experience. All classes have their own administrator attached to the class to receive technical help. Small class sizes allow for plenty of individual attention.

Kids will develop artistic skills and explore their individuality, uniqueness and creative sensibility under the guidance of nurturing artist/educators. ARAS programs are guided by the strong principle that everyone needs to and should develop their creative voice.

WHAT WE OFFER ADULTS
Beginner and advanced students will discover something new about themselves and their artistic practice in classes with like-minded people. Students will feel a strong sense of community while they exercise their creative muscles, challenge themselves and develop their artistic skills
