The City of Oshawa’s Canada Day celebration is a free large family friendly event held each year on July 1st at picturesque Lakeview Park. This free event provides a wide range of local entertainment, vendors, activities and displays for attendees to enjoy. The event provides an opportunity for Oshawa and surrounding communities to gather at one location and celebrate our country on its birthday, while creating a positive economic impact on the local community. It attracts visitors from Oshawa, Durham Region and across Ontario. The event finishes with a spectacular fireworks display over Lake Ontario.
