Join the Nature Centre for a family-friendly event celebrating the longest night of the year. Together, we’ll craft lanterns to help light the night then we’ll head outside, gathering around a fire, to watch the sun set on the shortest day of the year.
All materials for the lanterns will be provided by the Nature Centre.
The Nature Centre has moved to a smaller location while our main building is being renovated to improve accessibility. In our smaller space, we can accommodate fewer people at the Winter Solstice event than in years past. If you register for the Winter Solstice event and are no longer able to attend, please reply the registration confirmation email to cancel so as many people as possible can get with us in High Park.
