Mountsberg Spooktacular Halloween

Friday, October 3, 2025 - Sunday, October 26, 2025

Mountsberg’s family-friendly Spooktacular Halloween starts October 3 and runs Friday to Sunday evenings from 4:30 pm to 10:00 pm until October 26.

Spooktacular is a unique Halloween experience that blends haunted fun with a chance to learn about wildlife. We encourage you to come in costume and capture your memories at one of our Halloween photo stations!

Register to bring your ghouls and goblins for a night of spooky fun that incudes:

  • Excavate a DinoMonster fossil and take it home (NEW!)
  • Track down Mountsberg’s spooky DinoMonsters in a scavenger hunt and earn a Junior Paleontologist badge (NEW!)
  • Visit our family-friendly Fortune Teller (NEW!)
  • Visit the Haunted Barn
  • Missing Pumpkins scavenger hunt for tasty Halloween treats
  • A trip through the Haunted Barn
  • See guest appearances from the Mountsberg snakes and owls
  • Visit Mountsberg’s farm animals
  • Visit campfires
  • Enjoy tasty eats and sweets
  • Play on the natural playground
  • Journey through an illuminated Night Walk trail featuring an Invasive Zone, Graveyard of the Undead, Ghostly Pirate Ship, Giant Pumpkin, and more!

For an extra special experience, register at the Gift Shop for a wagon ride through the deep, dark woods with our ghostly driver! Tickets $6.50 per person and are first come, first served. Please purchase wagon ride tickets in the Gift Shop while you are at Spooktacular.

There are no “jump scares” at Spooktacular, but we recommend you come prepared with flashlights to help navigate dark areas. Furry friends are welcome to attend the event, excluding wagon rides. We kindly ask that dogs remain on-leash at all times and are kept away from Mountsberg’s live animals in the animal barn, snake room, and Raptor Centre.

Purchase tickets online.
