Introducing Room for Play — the first program of its kind at YPT! This special series is specifically for our very youngest audiences (11 months to five years old) and their grownups.
It features a lineup of delightfully interactive play-based programming designed to nurture imagination, build meaningful connections, and encourage new skills in participants of all ages.
From theatre, to choirs, mini-concerts and more – all inspired by our season’s lineup – come step into a world of creative discovery where you and your little ones can play, connect, and grow side by side!

Room for Play programming launches Sept. 27, 2025, and runs through May 2026. Programs range from free ticketed events and pay-what-you-wish to $10 child/senior and $15 adult tickets.

Songs of the Seasons
Get your little ones moving and grooving in this special interactive concert inspired by the sights, sounds, and rhythms of the seasons.
Friday Playdate
Bring your little ones for play, exploration, and joyful song circles led by guest artist-educators: Pete Moss and Songs with Nash!
YPT Choir
Unleash your voice! This 5-week program is for children ages 5+ and their grownups to sing, play, and build a musical community together.
Storytime Studio
Introduce your little ones to live interactive storytelling in a space and at a pace designed just for them!
Forts
Take family fort-building to a colossal new level with cardboard boxes, sheets, clotheslines, and theatrical elements in our Studio!

Settle into Mama Bird’s cozy nest in this multi-sensory theatre production featuring puppets, soft lights, and gentle melodies.
