Enjoy a more relaxed and welcoming aquarium experience during Sensory Sunday Mornings at Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada. Held on select Sunday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., these special sensory-friendly hours feature increased lighting, a music-free environment, and access to a quiet room for guests who may need a break during their visit.
These sensory mornings were developed in partnership with Autism Ontario to help ensure all guests feel comfortable, supported, and able to enjoy the aquarium experience.
Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada is also proud to be recognized as a Certified Autism Center by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES), becoming the first attraction in Canada to receive this designation. Aquarium staff completed extensive autism sensitivity and awareness training, and sensory guides are available throughout exhibits to help visitors better understand sensory impacts during their visit.
