The 2026 EUFF Presents: Spiked

Sunday, November 22, 2026 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

We’re excited to invite families across the GTA to the 2026 European Union Film Festival (EUFF)!

This year, we will be playing the 2025 animated family-adventure film Spiked by Luxembourgish director Caroline Origer. This film will screen on Sunday, November 22nd at 4pm at the Spadina Theatre (Alliance Française).

Spiked follows a spirited young hedgehog, Holly, a spirited young hedgehog who has spent her entire life sheltered by an excessively protective father. Walter, on the other hand, is an exhausted, hopelessly overworked rabbit struggling to manage his dozens of energetic kids. When a sudden collision brings the two together, a heavy bump to the head leaves Walter convinced he is actually a legendary, fearless warrior hero. Thrilled to finally experience life beyond her front yard, Holly happily plays along, getting swept up in Walter’s concussion-fueled quest.

While originally in French, the film will be dubbed in English. General admission will be free on a first-come, first-served basis, and tickets will also be available for advance purchase ($10 each). Tickets can be purchased directly on our website.
