Get into the spirit of Halloween with a Spooky Historical Tour of your city! Ghost walks are offered in a number of locations across Ontario throughout the fall season and can be a fun and fascinating way to learn more about the history of Ontario towns.

Parents need to know… not all walks are suitable for young children. Some children may find content scary, very young children can get bored – you know your child best, use your judgement and inquire with tour operators if you are unsure!

Black Creek ‘Halloween Nightlife’ Ghost Walks

Explore the supernatural side of Black Creek Pioneer Village on a terrifying tour! The Haunted Walk Experience with The Haunted Walk of Toronto. Black Creek in the dark is the perfectly creepy backdrop for a night of spine-tingling ghost stories and tales from dark side of local history. Each participant will receive a special limited edition Haunted Walk flashlight for the event!

The Original Haunted Walk of Toronto

Our outdoor tour will take you on a hair-raising paranormal adventure, departing from the courtyard in front of the Hockey Hall of Fame. Get ready to see the city in a whole new light, or rather, darkness, as you uncover the eerie and supernatural tales that lurk in its shadows.

Ghost Walk of Niagara-on-the-Lake

Niagara-on-the-Lake is hands down Canada’s Most Haunted Town! 200 years of history and ghosts featured with tales of haunted pubs, inns, and homes. This tour includes the Angel Inn, Courthouse, Royal George Theatre and Prince of Wales Hotel. With North America’s oldest legend, a mystery at the Apothecary, a deathly first and only, and a house making cameras go crazy.

Pickering Ghost Walk

Lead through the Village by lantern-light, this spine-tingling tour will turn even the toughest cynic into a believer…of the supernatural! Learn about the paranormal investigations that have taken place on site, hear the Museum’s most infamous staff stories, and uncover the tragedies that have occurred in Pickering’s past.

Alone in the Dark

Presented by The Haunted Walk and held at Black Creek Pioneer Village. A spine-chilling paranormal adventure where intimate groups of 12 or fewer will have exclusive access to investigate haunted heritage buildings on site – in the dark! Including the notorious Half Way House, known to harbour untold secrets and restless spirits. As the moon rises high and shadows grow long, guests will delve into the mysteries of the supernatural world, seeking to connect with the village’s lingering inhabitants. Will any of them answer? Each group will have a unique and unpredictable experience while investigating. This unforgettably eerie evening will delight ghost story enthusiasts, fearless paranormal investigators, history aficionados, urban explorers, and anyone with a curiosity about the unknown. Space is limited.

Toronto’s Haunted Harbour

Set sail on a spooky adventure in Toronto’s Haunted Harbour with Pirate Life! This 90-minute storytelling & boat cruise experience takes you out on the waters, through the lagoons, past the Gibraltar Point Lighthouse, and stops for a quick visit at one of the eerie islands. Hear spine-tingling tales of ghost ships, shipwrecks, and monsters lurking just below the surface – all from the files of Toronto’s famous Haunted Walk. Dead men may tell no tales – but we do!

Ghost Walks at the Dundas Museum

Every Thursday in October, join us for a scary stroll through the most haunted places in Dundas! This Ghost Walk, led by local historian Stan Nowak will explore some of the town’s spooky spots and teach a little bit of history along the way. Don’t miss out on this chance to celebrate local ghostly happenings!

Fort George Halloween Ghost Tours

Some believe that Halloween is the time of year when supernatural forces are most powerful, and the barrier between this world and the next is at its weakest. For others, it’s just the perfect time of year for a good ghost story. Join us for an exploration of the scariest aspects of haunted Fort George. This 2-hour walking tour includes stories too frightening to be told on the summer tours, and opens a building (the Officers’ Quarters) usually off limits to the Ghost Tour.

Fergus Ghost Walks

Join actors/historians as they lead you on a lantern walk and guided tour of the mysteries and histories of one of Canada’s most haunted villages. You’ll learn about the gristly end of the town clockmaster, the bagpiper’s lament, the famous doctor with a dark secret, the legend of the Ancient Ones and many more captivating stories from the early days of Fergus.
