Get into the spirit of Halloween with a Spooky Historical Tour of your city! Ghost walks are offered in a number of locations across Ontario throughout the fall season and can be a fun and fascinating way to learn more about the history of Ontario towns.
Parents need to know… not all walks are suitable for young children. Some children may find content scary, very young children can get bored – you know your child best, use your judgement and inquire with tour operators if you are unsure!

Alone in the Dark
New for 2023! Presented by The Haunted Walk and held at Black Creek Pioneer Village. A spine-chilling paranormal adventure where intimate groups of 12 or fewer will have exclusive access to investigate haunted heritage buildings on site – in the dark! Including the notorious Half Way House, known to harbour untold secrets and restless spirits. As the moon rises high and shadows grow long, guests will delve into the mysteries of the supernatural world, seeking to connect with the village’s lingering inhabitants. Will any of them answer? Each group will have a unique and unpredictable experience while investigating. This unforgettably eerie evening will delight ghost story enthusiasts, fearless paranormal investigators, history aficionados, urban explorers, and anyone with a curiosity about the unknown. Fort George Halloween Ghost Tours
Some believe that Halloween is the time of year when supernatural forces are most powerful, and the barrier between this world and the next is at its weakest. For others, it’s just the perfect time of year for a good ghost story. Join us for an exploration of the scariest aspects of haunted Fort George. This 2-hour walking tour includes stories too frightening to be told on the summer tours, and opens a building (the Officers’ Quarters) usually off limits to the Ghost Tour.
