Downtown Barrie is the place to be to ring in the New Year! Since 1998, the Downtown Countdown has brought thousands together from near and far to celebrate the arrival of the new year. This free evening of fun is one of Central Ontario’s largest New Year’s Eve celebrations. The festivities include family activities, skating and two fireworks shows, all set under the twinkling lights
It’s a time of celebration and new beginnings! Join us to ring in the New Year at the Ajax Community Centre (75 Centennial Rd.) from 6 – 9 p.m. Families can celebrate the start of the New year with children’s activities, games, live entertainment, interactive experiences, air brush tattoos, ice skating, and a DJ. Party favours are included as participants gather on the ice rink

Free Skating & Swimming Activities at the A.F.L.C. Bubble Shows 6 p.m. | 7 p.m. | 8 p.m. Reptile Shows 6 p.m. | 7 p.m. | 8 p.m. Leisure Swims 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. | 7:15 p.m.
