The Holiday Train runs November 21 to December 20 for its 26th year of spreading holiday cheer and raising money, food and awareness for people struggling with food insecurity. The 2024 CPKC Holiday Train tours both Canada and the United States. Professional musicians play free concerts from the brightly decorated train’s stage. RBG’s “G scale” model train experience takes you on a journey through four seasons of whimsical Canadian landscapes while telling the story of how railroads shaped our history. The Escarpment Train Exhibit at Rock Garden illustrates three eras of locomotion history including the steam engines of the late 1800s, the streamliners of the 1930s and the powerful modern diesels of the 1960s up to present

70th Anniversary Celebration

Halton County Radial Railway is 70 this year! We’re planning a day of celebration and fun for the whole family on September 21. Event includes unlimited streetcar rides, activities for kids, food trucks (Curbside, Ice Cream 4 U, Beavertails), display barns, trolley parade, entertainment, ceremony and more. The Canadian Pacific (CP) Holiday Train will return to the rails this season on its first cross-continent tour in three years, following virtual concerts in the pandemic years of 2020 and 2021. The train will again raise money, food and awareness for local food banks in communities along the CP network. The 2022 tour will launch on Nov. 23 with the Holiday Train’s first-ever Maine
