When the snow is just starting to fall and Winter is almost here, Schomberg gets all dressed up and invites everyone from near and far to come and enjoy a fun-filled family outing along our historic Main Street.
There are street performers, carolers, children’s entertainers, fireside readings, holiday creations, two parades, and, of course, Santa Claus!
The event starts with the exciting Community Santa Claus Parade at 4:00, where local businesses and groups participate with creative floats and several bands march while playing rousing tunes.
Between 4:30 and 7:30 you are invited to wander up and down Main Street to enjoy the sights and sounds of a bygone era with carolers singing and playing music.
The evening is brought to a spectacular close with the Farmers’ Parade of Lights brought to you by our local farming community with brightly decorated farm equipment driven down Main Street, starting at 7:30pm.
Cost for the day is $5 per adult, and children 12 and under are free.
