Black History Exhibition Tour

Saturday, February 7, 2026 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Join us every Saturday in February during Black History Month for a special museum tour of Black excellence and contributions to culture through footwear. This family-friendly tour of our exhibitions will specifically focus on Black artists, workers, and diasporic communities.

Before or after your tour, get creative at the self-guided activity stations and learn about some of the shoes we have in our collection that highlight Black culture and creativity throughout time. Have some fun in the Try-On Shoes area and pick up an iSpy card for an adventurous, self-guided museum scavenger hunt. Please be mindful that children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
