Celebrate the arrival of fall at the annual Bronte Creek Harvest Festival at Bronte Creek Provincial Park! Held at the park’s historic Spruce Lane Farm, this family-friendly festival offers a glimpse into harvest season as it might have been experienced more than 100 years ago.
Step back in time as staff dressed in historical clothing share hands-on demonstrations and stories about early farm life. Families can watch the farm’s apple cider press in action — and even help press the apples — tour the turn-of-the-century farmhouse, enjoy a wagon ride and meet the farm animals.
Festival activities include:
* Pick your own pumpkin by donation
* Apple cider pressing demonstrations
* Tours of the historic farmhouse
* Try your hand at a four-foot cross-cut saw and make a souvenir
* Wagon rides
* Seasonal refreshments and food available for purchase
