We are excited to invite you to our Buckthorn Wreath-Making event on Sunday, November 17, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
This festive and eco-friendly activity is perfect for getting into the fall spirit! Did you know that buckthorn is one of the most invasive shrubs in Ontario? Help us transform these destructive plants into beautiful fall decorations. You’ll have the opportunity to create a stunning wreath using pre-cut buckthorn and other natural materials.
We will provide:
Buckthorn wreaths
Various plant materials and natural decor items
Ribbon, scissors, and hot glue guns
Tea and snacks to enjoy while crafting
This program is designed for adults and children aged 8 and above (with adult supervision). The event will take place indoors at the Discovery Centre.
Please note: One wreath per ticket order. If you are attending with friends or family and each person would like their own wreath, please book separately. In the ticketing process you can indicate how many people will be attending in your group. We look forward to seeing you there and crafting together!
Pets are not permitted at this program. Service animals are always welcome.
