Celebrate Canada and show your Canadian pride at the Collingwood Festival for Canada! Stop by Collingwood Downtown on June 27 and July 1 for a range of family-friendly activities. From live music to interactive games, we’ve got it all!
The festivities kick off on June 27 with the Collingwood Downtown Farmers’ Market from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the corner of Second and Pine Streets. Local vendors feature a wide range of organic vegetables and fruit, baking, meats and cheeses, flowers and trees, jams and preserves, handcrafted items and more.
After you pick up all your local goods, head over to 84 Hurontario Street (across from Town Hall) for Collingwood Soccer Central and see if you’ve got what it takes to play for Team Canada. Test your soccer skills in the ultimate soccer arena and with junior soccer darts! Free family fun for everyone!
The fun continues on Wednesday, July 1, with Local Live Lunch from 12 to 1:30 p.m.! Great food, a fun atmosphere and free performances by the area’s top-notch musicians, singers, and songwriters! Each Wednesday throughout the summer, Local Live Lunch welcomes everyone to drop by our outdoor concert area at Sheffer Court (186 Hurontario Street) downtown. You can purchase your lunch on site from a featured restaurant, sit back in comfy Muskoka-style chairs, relax, and listen to great local, live music. Local Live lunch is a celebration of community spirit paired with culinary treats and music!
Note: The Town of Collingwood no longer offers fireworks for this event.
