Get ready for a glowing Halloween adventure at Dynamic Earth! Pumpkinferno returns this October with an incredible after-dark outdoor experience featuring more than 7,000 themed pumpkins lighting up the night.
Families can wander the spectacular Pumpkinferno Trail, explore Dynamic Earth after hours and enjoy plenty of spooky science and Halloween fun along the way. Admission includes access to Pumpkinferno and Dynamic Earth, the Big Nickel Show, spooky science experiments and experiences, plus the Pumpkin Passport — an immersive scavenger hunt with activity stops throughout the attraction.
There’s even more to discover, including hands-on Halloween activities, creepy crawlies, mini science experiments, ghost rock activities and other seasonal surprises. Costumes are encouraged, so gather the family and enjoy a night of glowing pumpkins, science and Halloween fun!
The event runs rain or shine from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with the best Pumpkinferno viewing recommended between 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm.

Lil’ Pumpkins
Families with younger children can also check out Lil’ Pumpkins, a new early-evening experience designed for little Halloween fans. Visit the Pumpkinferno Trail before dark for a quieter, less intense experience without the nighttime lighting and spooky shadows.
Lil’ Pumpkins Hours: 6:00 pm–7:00 pm, Thursdays to Sundays during the event period. Thursday dates are October 22 and 29 only.
