Ignite Academy Summer Camp

Monday, July 27, 2026 - Friday, July 31, 2026

At Ignite Academy, we channel your child’s natural interests—like video games and the environment—into powerful learning opportunities. Designed for children ages 8–12, our specialized summer themes, Game Tycoons and Eco-Inventions, transform campers from passive consumers into active creators and innovators. We don’t just play games; we design businesses around them.

What Makes Our Themes Special? We use themes that kids love to teach the skills they need.

The Experience: A Two-Week Themed Sprint Our 2-week program allows for a deep dive into these exciting worlds.

A Typical Day: Creativity with a Purpose Every day is a blend of specialized project time and classic summer fun.

Outcomes for Your Child By anchoring complex skills in fun themes, children gain:

  • Communication Mastery: Pitching their game or eco-product with passion and clarity.
  • Critical Thinking: Solving design bugs or environmental hurdles.
  • Applied Financial Literacy: Understanding costs and revenue within the context of a game store or a green business.

Afternoon Recreation: We balance the brainwork with outdoor sports and team challenges at Runnymede Presbyterian Church, ensuring campers stay active and social.

“Founder’s Time”: Teams collaborate on their specific projects—building cardboard arcades or sketching eco-friendly packaging.

Morning “Theme Labs”: High-energy workshops where campers might learn the math behind game scoring or the science behind sustainable materials.
