Celebrate 182 years of fall traditions at the Markham Fair, returning October 1–4, 2026! One of Canada’s oldest country fairs, this much-loved annual event brings together agriculture, entertainment, midway fun, live shows, animals, food and plenty of family-friendly activities.
This year’s entertainment lineup has something for all ages. Little ones can meet Bluey and her sister Bingo, while families can catch the incredible SuperDogs, daily BMX Bike Shows and the high-flying Freestyle MX Big Air Insanity and Monster Truck Crush show.
The action continues with high-octane Tractor Pulls and the always-popular Demo Derby, while the Monster Midway offers rides and games throughout the weekend.
Of course, it wouldn’t be the Markham Fair without plenty of agricultural traditions. Explore livestock shows, check out some impressively giant pumpkins and squash, and enjoy competitions celebrating everything from scarecrows and pets to local talent. Highlights include the Teen Talent Show, Best Scarecrow competition and Best Dressed Pet competition.
