Downtown Ajax will shine with holiday magic as Santa’s Spectacle of Lights returns on Saturday, November 28, 2026! This popular nighttime Santa Claus Parade brings families together for a sparkling evening of festive fun, twinkling lights and Christmas cheer.
Bundle up and find a spot along the parade route to enjoy beautifully illuminated floats, holiday music and colourful displays as the community welcomes Santa Claus to town. The excitement builds as the parade makes its way through downtown Ajax, with a special appearance by the guest of honour, Santa himself!
The festivities don’t end when the parade is over! Families are invited to continue the celebration with a special Christmas tree lighting ceremony and holiday after-party at Ajax Town Hall and the Ajax Main Library. It’s a wonderful opportunity to enjoy even more seasonal fun together.
Presented by Elexicon Energy, the parade runs from 6 to 7:30 pm, beginning at Bayly Street and Mackenzie Avenue. The route travels east along Bayly Street, then north on Harwood Avenue South, finishing at Ajax Town Hall.
Dress warmly, arrive early to find a great viewing spot and enjoy a magical evening welcoming the holiday season in Ajax!
