TD is illuminating Union Station’s West Wing with TD Innovation Lights. An immersive, gesture-powered light canopy with 10,000 individual twinkles, each representing one of the 10,000 ideas implemented through the bank’s iD8 program. Inspiring the innovation mindset – from idea to impact – is exactly what iD8 was designed to do. Launched in 2019, the colleague ideation program empowers TD employees to innovate with purpose.
Since its launch, more than 100,000 ideas have been submitted, with over 10,000 already implemented to make banking smarter, simpler, and better for clients.
What you will experience at the activation:
– A canopy of 10,000 twinkles that react with light and sound the moment someone steps underneath.
– A gesture-guided musical score that shifts as visitors walk or wave beneath the lights.
– Three modes that move from calm winter sparkle, lights that follow individuals walking under it, to a full festive symphonic moment.
Running through January 4th, the installation is a vibrant demonstration of how TD turns employee ideas into experiences that brighten every day.
