Celebrate Indigenous arts, music, and culture at the UpFRONT Festival in Toronto! This free family-friendly festival transforms Berczy Park, Scott Street, and the St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts into a vibrant gathering place filled with live music, storytelling, art, food, and community connection.
Enjoy performances across two outdoor stages featuring Indigenous artists from across Toronto and Turtle Island, including Drezus, Crystal Shawanda, Tom Wilson Tehohàhake Trio, Don Amero, Mimi O’Bonsawin, Adrian Sutherland, and many more. Families can explore dedicated children’s programming, including puppet shows, storytimes with Toronto Public Library, interactive activities, and live dance performances.
Visitors of all ages can browse the Indigenous artisan marketplace, meet Indigenous authors during intimate kitchen table talks, and watch live mural artists transform the exterior of the St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts into a colourful open-air gallery throughout the weekend. Whether you come for the music, shopping, food, art, or family fun, UpFRONT Festival is a welcoming celebration of Indigenous creativity, culture, and community.
