Canadian Tire Motorsport Park’s 2024 major event season opens with the Castrol Victoria Day SpeedFest. The NASCAR Canada Series provides the on-track action, while fireworks light up the evening sky on this unofficial start to summer and first big holiday weekend of camping.
The schedule includes races in the Nissan Sentra Cup, Sports Car Championship Canada presented by Michelin, Emzone Radical Cup Canada presented by Michelin, Super Production Challenge and the Toyo Tires F1600 Championship.
The featured NASCAR race runs Sunday afternoon to kick off the ’24 NASCAR Canada schedule.
There’s plenty of off-track excitement for race fans of all ages to enjoy in the CTMP Marketplace, including interactive displays, vendors, food and the Beer Garden. The Canadian Tire Fun Zone provides fun activities for families with younger kids.
Saturday night highlights include live music in the Beer Garden, with the retro ’80s tribute band, The Bomb, belting out well-known tunes from Billy Idol, Bowie, The Clash, Prince, and much more, followed by CTMP’s spectacular Victoria Day fireworks display launched from Corner One.
The CTMP Merchandise Trailer, near the paddock restaurant area, is THE place to get your officially licensed CTMP gear and other must-have merchandise and souvenirs.
Don’t miss the race team paddock in the circuit infield at the north end near the start/finish straight. This is your chance to get up close to all the team transporters, race cars, crews and drivers when they’re not on track competing. Watch and listen for announcements about driver autograph sessions held by some of the series.
