Experience aviation history up close at the Warbird Fly-In at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum! This special event brings together an impressive collection of restored vintage military aircraft, with visiting warbirds arriving, parking and departing throughout the day.
This year’s event also celebrates the 80th anniversary of the first flight of the de Havilland Canada Chipmunk, with several Chipmunks expected to take part. Families can get a close-up look at an exciting lineup of historic aircraft, including Spitfires, Mustangs, Harvards, Tiger Moths, vintage First World War aircraft and more. The museum’s famous Avro Lancaster is also scheduled to fly twice, at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Please note that this is a fly-in rather than an air show, so visiting aircraft arrive and depart according to individual pilot schedules. Aircraft participation is also subject to weather and serviceability.
Admission: Adults $20 and children ages 6–17 $15 when purchased online; children 5 and under and museum members are free.
