Make the most of winter break with a family visit to the Bata Shoe Museum! This year’s holiday activities dive into the colourful world of beads, inspired by the museum’s newest exhibition, Brilliant: The Art of Beaded Footwear around the World.
Drop in for hands-on crafts, games, presentations, tours and prizes while learning how beads have been used throughout history and cultures around the world. Kids can create their own DIY beaded shoelaces and take home a special activity book to continue the fun.
On select Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, families can also take part in scheduled activities including beading demonstrations, exhibition tours and hands-on presentations. Activities vary throughout the break, so there may be something new to discover on each visit.
