FUN BY DAY

  • Snyder’s Family Farm — The entire family will have fun at Snyder’s Family Farm. Experience Waterloo Region’s countryside as you work your way through Snyder’s five-acre Corn Maze: visit the Straw Play Castle, board the Pirate Ship or try out the trampoline-like Jumping Pillow. Search for the perfect pumpkin in the Pumpkin Patch, and decorate your home for fall with items from the fall décor store. Finish off your day with a Fall Campfire experience at Snyder’s – complete with s’mores and hot dogs! Snyder’s is a day full of ‘farmtastic’ fall fun.

  • Shuh Orchards — Enjoy farm-fresh apples straight from the tree at Shuh Orchards. Choose from Gala, Honey Crisp and Ambrosia apples grown on Shuh’s 50-acre orchard just outside of Elmira.

Countless couples, photographers and families have enjoyed beautiful Shuh Orchards for their photo shoots and social media selfies.

  • Corn Mazes and Pumpkin Patches — If your fall To-Do list includes a visit to a corn maze or pumpkin patch, Waterloo Region’s rural spaces offer up the fun you’re looking for! Create new fall memories with your family and capture all of the instagrammable moments that await as you explore Waterloo Region.

  • Fresh, Local Food — Visit one of Waterloo Region’s many roadside stands and farm markets to enjoy Waterloo Region’s local harvest. The county lines and township roads lead you to everything from fresh vegetables, summer sausage, maple syrup to flowers and so much more. These roadside stands and country stores are a unique aspect of Waterloo Region’s rural communities.

FEAR BY NIGHT

  • Screampark — Scream season is here! With six horrifying attractions and zero ways to prepare for the fear, Bingemans Screampark is a haunting and terrifying experience. Open Thursday through Sunday between now and Halloween, Screampark is sure to leave thrill-seekers shaking in their shoes! To make it an even scarier Road Trip, book the Screampark Camping package – and stay just minutes from all the horror!

  • Fear Farm — This legendary and frightening farm returns with its famous haunted hayride, three indoor haunted houses and two outdoor corn maze haunts. With deadly surprises around every corner, gather your courage and embark on a terrifying trek through Fear Farm!  Add to the experience with a Fear Farm Campfire for your group.
