One of Toronto’s most treasured holiday traditions is back! The Original Santa Claus Parade returns on Sunday, November 22, 2026, celebrating 122 years of bringing Christmas magic to families across the city.
This spectacular parade has delighted generations of children with its larger-than-life, hand-painted floats, colourful characters, marching bands and festive entertainment. This year’s celebration promises exciting new floats featuring LEGO Canada, Jollibee, Tim Hortons, Playdium, Super Simple and more, alongside beloved favourites like Mother Goose and the ever-popular Celebrity Clowns.
Watch as downtown Toronto comes alive with holiday excitement, featuring talented performers, festive music and plenty of surprises along the way. Of course, the grand finale everyone has been waiting for is the arrival of Santa Claus himself!
The parade is free to attend and is expected to welcome more than 750,000 spectators. Families are encouraged to arrive early, bundle up and find a great viewing spot along the parade route.
Can’t make it downtown? You can still enjoy the magic from home with live coverage on Citytv, Citytv+ and YouTube.
Don’t miss this wonderful Canadian holiday tradition that has been bringing families together since 1905!
