Brantford is marking a special holiday milestone this year! The 50th Annual Brantford Santa Claus Parade returns on Saturday, November 28, 2026, bringing a magical evening of twinkling lights, festive entertainment and Christmas cheer to downtown Brantford.
This year’s theme, “50 Years of Kindness,” celebrates five decades of community spirit and holiday traditions. Families can look forward to colourful illuminated floats, marching bands, festive music and creative displays as local businesses and community organizations come together to welcome the Christmas season. Of course, the highlight of the evening will be the grand arrival of Santa Claus himself!
The parade begins at 6 pm, travelling through downtown Brantford. But the holiday fun doesn’t end there!
After the parade, head to Harmony Square for a free family-friendly celebration featuring photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, hot chocolate, carnival treats, face painting and live entertainment. Children can also enjoy a special musical performance and meet-and-greet with The Glass Slipper Company, along with an appearance by record-breaking stilt walker Doug “The Great” Hunt.
Presented by Freedom House, the parade is a wonderful opportunity for families and friends to come together and celebrate the magic of the holiday season.
Bundle up, arrive early to find a good viewing spot and enjoy this special 50th anniversary celebration in Brantford!
Admission is free.
