Happy Lunar New Year from CF Markville! You’re invited with your family and friends to celebrate Lunar New Year and the Year of the Snake! Enjoy a traditional lion dance, festive dance performances, God of Fortune, and more! These activities are complimentary and are open to all our visitors.

We are excited to observe the festival with shoppers in Markham, where a significant portion of our population shares a deep connection with Asian heritage and culture.

Festive Dance Performance
Hosted by A1 Chinese Radio’s talk show hosts Happy Trio with Winnie, Anthony and Ty Li, join us for an unforgettable lion dance, festive dance performances, God of Fortune, and more! A traditional lion and dragon dance symbolizes good fortune and energy at the beginning of the New Year. Meet the God of Fortune as he shares his wealth and luck with the community to kick off the Year of the Snake.
