Throughout the Family Day Weekend, visitors of all ages can tour the first floor of the historic house, enriched with special content celebrating figures within Black Toronto and the Canadian diaspora. Visitors are encouraged to reflect on their own identities and the identities of those around them by crafting a zine. Zines are self-made and self-published works of art that represent an alternate, more accessible way of disseminating stories, connecting with others, and promoting artists. Families (in every sense of the word) are invited to explore, learn, and get creative together!
