The magic of Christmas returns to Newcastle with the annual Newcastle Santa Claus Parade! This much-loved nighttime tradition lights up the village with beautifully illuminated floats, marching bands, colourful characters and plenty of festive cheer for families of all ages.
The evening traditionally begins with the lighting of the Christmas tree outside Newcastle Town Hall, followed by a spectacular fireworks display before the parade gets underway. Gather along King Avenue to enjoy the twinkling lights, holiday music and creative displays as the community comes together to welcome Santa Claus!
Children are encouraged to bring their letters to Santa, with special helpers collecting them along the parade route for delivery to the North Pole.
The parade travels east along King Avenue from North Street to Arthur Street/Brookhouse Drive.
Bundle up and bring the whole family for a magical evening in the Village of Newcastle!
