At Winged Canvas Art Hub, we’re huge Art Nerds. You might be wondering what an Art Nerd is exactly. Well, it’s someone who is proud of their paint-stained jeans. Someone who loves to sort their candy by colour. Someone who lives and breathes art.
We’re excited to announce the 2019 Ultimate Art Contest for kids and teens in grades 4 – 12 in Markham. Students are invited to submit their original artwork that shows their interpretation of the theme “Art Nerd.” It can be a comic, illustration, painting or digital piece — something that captures a passion for creating.
This contest is a great opportunity for young art lovers to show off their skills and have the chance to win amazing prizes. We’ll select three Grand Prize Winners who will win a $500 scholarship for art programs at Winged Canvas. We’re also offering nine $100 prize packs for finalists that includes art supplies Plus, we’ll be releasing an Art Nerd wall calendar in 2020 that will feature all 12 winners!
