The Spring Baby Show Toronto Returns April 12-13, Offering a One-Stop-Shop Where New and Expecting Parents Can Buy Local and National Products Made in Canada

Canada’s leading pregnancy and parenting experts will demonstrate life-saving car seat installation and CPR practices and share valuable insights on preparing your mind and body for baby’s arrival

The Spring Baby Show, presented by The Canadian Scholarship Trust Foundation (CST), returns to the Enercare Centre, Exhibition Place from Saturday April 12 to Sunday April 13.

The Baby Show is Canada’s premier parenting event, and this year’s annual spring show will feature more than 200 brands, including local and national Canadian brands, offering shoppers everything from strollers and baby carriers to car seats and clothing, handmade art, decor, and more. Visitors will also have the opportunity to preview the latest trends, watch live demonstrations and enjoy complimentary sleep consultations and massages.

On the Volvo Safety Stage, the show will feature a lineup of Canada’s leading pregnancy and parenting experts, covering a wide range of essential baby-related topics, including life-saving car installation and CPR demonstrations. Visitors can also enjoy pre and post-natal fitness demos on the Health & Wellness Mat, free consultations with certified pediatric sleep experts at the Hush Sleep Station and complimentary massages from Medix College. Returning this year, the Healthy Moms Marketplace showcases the latest sustainable Canadian brands, offering natural skincare products and pregnancy-safe supplements, and organic baby essentials. Volvo is also back at the Spring Baby Show, offering test drives of their electrified line up of vehicles.

Headline child care brands, services, and exhibitors at the show include CST, Aveeno Baby, Royale Diapers, BioGaia, UPPAbaby, Peg Perego, Munchkin, Thule, Hush Blankets, Clément, Lansinoh, Baby Bjorn, and more. Visitors can also enjoy a wealth of sample products and giveaways from major brands, ranging from pacifiers to baby skin care items to baby snacks.

VOLVO SAFETY STAGE
This stage is packed with leading experts covering a variety of live-saving topics, including:

Tamara Sylvan, Acting Captain of Toronto Fire Services and Owner of BCPR SMART INC, will address crucial prevention techniques and practices for infant and child choking.

Melissa Brabant, Team Leader, Ministry of Transportation, will demonstrate the proper use and installation of child car seats.

Jenny Grant, Brand Ambassador and Babywearing Educator with Ergobaby and Baby Tula, will share babywearing 101 tips.

CST SEMINAR STAGE
This stage covers topics ranging from what parents need to know about preparing the mind and body for childbirth to how to make doctor appointments painless and stress free.

Aviva Allen, Founder & CEO of Healthy Moms; Denise Williams, Founder of Matter Company and Certified Therapeutic Herbalist; Melita Cyril, Founder, CEO, Q for Quinn Inc; and Caroline Dönni, IBCLC, Midwife, will host a panel discussion on choosing natural products for your baby.

Taya Griffin, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, sharing tips on pain-free nursing and the secrets of a great latch.

Dr. Eevon Ling, Naturopathic Doctor, Doula & Educator, Your Downtown Doula, will share three ways you and your partner can cope with early labour at home.

SHOW FEATURES

Enjoy demos with top experts on the Health & Wellness Mat, who will be leading prenatal and postpartum fitness masterclasses, offering tips and strategies for an easier birth, fun times for little ones with Gymboree and more.

Designed for both prenatal and postnatal massage, the Medix College Massage Area will treat attendees to complimentary massages as a way to help mothers sleep better, reduce fluid retention and swelling.

Visit the Tiny Hearts 3D Ultrasound Studio booth for your very own 3D Ultrasound performed on site to help capture the magic and irreplaceable moment in time prior to the baby’s arrival.

Experts in the Hush Sleep Station are offering free sleep consultations. You’ll have up to 15 minutes to ask any questions about your baby’s sleep routine so that your little one can sleep soundly at night. Visitors can also shop the newest Hush. bedding collection.

Meet and Greet: Children have the chance to meet and have their photo taken with Bluey and Bingo, as well as Daniel Tiger and Peppa Pig who will be in the CBC booth.
