Big Screen Halloween

Big Screen Halloween

Cineplex has movie-lovers covered with Halloween flicks across all genres. Cineplex will celebrate the spooky season with Big Screen Halloween featuring select $5 movies from October 23 to November 1.

The family movies include Monster House (2006), Hotel Transylvania (2012) and Goosebumps (2015); films for teens include Annabelle (2014), The Conjuring (2013), and Annabelle: Creation (2017) and the VIP classic Scream (1996). There will also be a family-friendly, two-day trick-or-treating event on October 30 and 31, where guests will receive free M&M’s Minis upon entry (peanut-free treats available on request). Audiences are encouraged to wear costumes to the theatres.

Movie-tricksters can also treat themselves to films from their homes through the Cineplex Store, with over 50 titles on sale in the Bloody Discounts section. The store will also house eight collections of terrifying titles of all genres: Slasher Flicks, Twisted Romances, Spine Chilling Horrors, Thrills & Chills, Terrifying Sci-Fi, Beyond the Darkness, Spook-tackular Family Flicks and Frightful Bundles and Collections.

Film-ghoulers can enjoy spooktacular classics in many forms through Cineplex Events including National Theatre Live’s Frankenstein, the cult classic teen vampire comedy The Lost Boys (1987), the British sci-fi comedy Attack the Block (2011) and Northern Ballet’s staging of Dracula. Screening as part of the Flashback Film Series, The Lost Boys and Attack The Block will be available for $5.

Cineplex’s top priority has always been the health and safety of its employees and guests and creating a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment. Theatres are open with enhanced safety and cleaning measures as well as updated procedures to allow for physical distancing both inside and outside auditoriums.
