Discover the fascinating world of Ontario’s bats during a special after-dark experience at the Toronto Zoo!
The evening begins with an informative presentation featuring leading bat expert Dr. Paul Faure and researchers from his lab, who will share their knowledge about these mysterious and often misunderstood creatures.
Then head out into the Zoo after dark to “listen to the night.” Guests will join the experts on a short tour in search of wild bats, using special bat detectors to identify their activity. The program also includes a special outreach animal visitor and the chance to learn more about bat conservation.
This unique evening experience is recommended for ages 12 and up, making it a great outing for teens and families interested in wildlife, science and conservation.
