Parents and grandparents have fond memories of visiting the drive-in on a Saturday night, hanging out at the concession stand, or cuddling up on a romantic date! These classic outdoor theatres are a dying breed dotted across the land of America, but Ontario still has it’s fair share and if we want them to stick around for future generations we should support them!
Visit one of these true classics for a family night out that will go down in the memory books, or better yet make it a regular tradition! You’ll find theatres within 45 minutes to an hour and half from the GTA and are open Spring through Fall. Theatres further afield are ideal destinations during a family vacation, and even better for those of us who live outside of the big city!
